System Builder - Presentations

Info:

There is a new tab in the system builder called Sectionals*, which in turn contains five more tabs, here is a screenshot

We will run through the Presentations tab in more detail.
 

Presentations Tab

This tab allows you to present by ranks and values for this time out and last time out and if you wish you can run report on all of the presentations for either.
(Note: Depending on your other system parameters these could take an long time to run!)

To run a presentation click the radio button next to the drop down list and then select a report from the drop down list, then set your other system parameters and run the system.

Ranks

The ranks tab allows you to query the rank of any piece of sectional data for many fields.

What are all the fields?

We have created an excel document explaining all the data fields you can see in Proform, plus how far back the historical sectional data goes and the data tolerances we used to block obvious data errors coming into our database, you can download this on the following link:-

Entering Data

When you click into any field it will expand so you can enter a query for that field, like this

You can press tab to move to the next field or press ESC to exit the field so that the size retruns to a small white box.

 

What is the tick box for?

The red tick box above the ranks, see here

lets you restrict queries in the database to only races where sectional data exists, this will speed up the query a little.

 

NOTE:

Querying ranks will not produce qualifiers because the data is not avilable until after the race is run.

This section allows you to research and profile the data.

Values

The values tab allows you to query the underlying values of any piece of sectional data for many fields.

The LTO fields are and have always been same code fields so we have now updated the description text in the preferences screen to reflect this and moved them all together in one block.

In this release we have also add the following extra LTO same code fields in the preferences tab:

  • Distance in Yards LTO.
  • Official Ratings LTO.
  • SP Odds LTO (Numerical).
  • SP Odds LTO (Decimal).
  • Betfair SP Odds LTO (Numerical).
  • Betfair SP Odds LTO (Decimal).

 

We have also added all the same LTO fields but for actual LTO run.

  • Position.
  • LTO Class.
  • LTO Class No.
  • LTO Value.
  • LTO Pounds.
  • LTO Distance.
  • LTO Distance in Yards.
  • LTO Course.
  • LTO Distance To Winner.
