John Gosden has won 3 renewals of the Bahrain Trophy from just 4 runners over the last 16 years. He won the 1997, 2010, 2011 and 2012 renewals and this year saddles Feel Like Dancing.  

GB in the Princess Of Wales

British Bred runners in the Princess Of Wales stakes have won 9 of the last 16 renewals from 47 runners. They have produced a £13 profit to SP backing them all to a £1 stake and are currently winning 27% more renewals than they should be. Cavalryman is the sole GB bred runner in this years renewal.  

Young Guns in the Princess Of Wales

3 and 4 year olds have the best record in the Princess Of Wales stakes winning 10 of the last 16 renewals for a 15% strike rate, a profit of £12. This is 11% above expectations. We have three runners who fit this category today, Universal, Grandeur and Ahzeemah.  

Top Trainer in the Princess Of Wales

Mark Johnston has had 14 runners in the Princess Of Wales stakes since 1998 winning 3 renewals and placing in a further two of them. This is around 110% above expectations based on the prices his runners are sent off. Today he runs Universal.  

All Maiden Races at the July Festival

Two trainers to follow in the maiden races at the Newmarket July Festival are Richard Hannon who has saddled 43 runners in maidens and won 7 of them, which is 90% above expectations and Saeed Bin Suroor who as won 5 maidens with just 15 runners over the years, which is 42% above expectations. Today see's one maiden race at 15:50 and Richard Hannon has two runners, Oriel and Manderley. Saeed Bin Suroor does not have any runners today in the maiden.
