If all horse sexes are ticked, then all races will pass the horse sex filter.

You can quickly select or de-select all horse sexes by right clicking on the list of horse sexes and making your choice from the resulting pop-up menu.You can NOT select individual sex types because in proform we store the sex against the horse name not it''s career, so when horse sex types change we do not register the change, hence horse sex types can not be chose, just Male or Female can be chosen.

Here are the horse sex full descriptions:-

m = Mare
f = Filly
c = Colt
r = Rig
g = Gelding
h = Entire

Horse Colour

Use the horse colour filter to restrict your system to different horse colours or a combination of any.

By unticking one or more horse colours, you can ignore runners that are not that colour. if all horse colours are ticked, then all races will pass the horse colour filter. You can quickly select or de-select all horse colours by right clicking on the list of horse colours and making your choice from the resulting pop-up menu.

Here are the horse colour full descriptions:-

br = Brown

Pace Abbrev

Here are the pace abbreviation full descriptions:-

Note

  • The pace abbreviation is after the event so can only be used for research not for building a system

Favourite or not

With the favourite or not filter you can choose to look at just favourites or include 2nd favourites etc, here is how it works:-

If you want to only analyse favourites then tick the FAV box. If you wanted favourites and 2nd favourites then tick both the FAV and 2ndFAV boxes. If you wanted to analyse races and ignore the favourite then tick the FAV box but also tick the NOT box above it.

The NOT box reverses your choice so for instance if you want to leave out favourites and 2nd favourites then you tick both the FAV and 2ndFAV box but also tick the NOT box.

The many combinations you can choose gives you the freedom to analyse favourites in the way you want.

The Favourite or Not can not be used in a saved system that you wish to find qualifiers for.  This is because the fav, 2nd fav etc is not known until after the races are run.

Horse Country

Use the horse country filter to restrict your system to horses from one, two or more countries.

By unticking one or more horse countries, you can ignore runners that were bred in that country. If all horse countries are ticked, then all races will pass the horse country filter. You can quickly select or de-select all horse countries by right clicking on the list of horse countries and making your choice from the resulting pop-up menu.

New Fields Added to Exporter

The Horse Sex Abbrev field has been added to the Exporter which reflects the correct sex of the horse on the date of the race exported.

We have also added export fields for Owner, Damsire, Dam and Damsire Country of Breeding, Sire Country of Breeding.

And finally we have added the following list of fields to the exporter, which are actual LTO variables regardless of race type.

New Ratings Presentations

Info:

In this software release we have added presentations for LTO User Rating Ranks and Values for all 4 user ratings.

This feature should help when researching your imported ratings and specifically sectional finishing speeds and upgrades in user ratings 4 and 3 if you are using them.

We have also added a LTO speed rating value presentation.  This is unrelated to the static speed figures; you can could query these in the previous version of code.

This feature allows you to query the actual speed figure produced last time out regardless of code of racing.

PRB^2

RED: Worse than 30%

Field Explanations

PRB - This is the average PRB of all starts, calculated for each race, so that the performance each race is weighted the same.

This new metric is more powerful than traditional strike rates. This is because strike rate uses wins which is very black and white i.e. a win counts as 1 but a loser regardless of finishing position, even if second counts as 0.

PRB^2 – This is the average of the percentage of rivals beaten squared.

PRB^2 is in effect PRB weighted so that each successive placing going down the field from the winner is less important. PRB^2 predicts future winners for any racing statistic better than PRB.

WAX – Wins above Expectations which is calculated like this, actual winners minus expected winners.

Glossary of New Fields

New fields on horse form tab

We have added the in running lows and highs and percentages from the in running tab to the form tab too for continuity.

PRB - This is the percentage of rivals beaten (PRB) that this horse has beat in each run. Colour Coded, see chart.

PosVsSPRank – This set 1 if the finishing position was better than the horse’s SP (Industry) rank and -1 if it wasn’t.  This can be used as an indicator of a horse running better than the odds expect.  However PRB is introduced also and this is likely a better indicator of good form.

SP_Rank – This is the rank of the industry SP the horse went off at.

PowR – This is the rank of the power Rating (UR1)

New fields on in running tab

We added a few fields to the in running tab, which are jockey and trainer, powr rank, qual, actual going, odds decimal and headgear.

New fields on race cards and results screen

Filters

All these fields work with form book filtering, for instance if you filter a race to only show AW form then all the values for the fields below reflect this.

This makes the trading figures truly powerful because you can filter to conditions more like today using the quick filters and the more advanced filters.

The quick filters look like this above the race card

The advance filters are behind this button on the right

Field Explanations

70% Low SR - This is the strike rate of the amount of times the horse has traded 70% or lower in running than it’s Betfair SP (BSP). Great for spotting B2L’s, Dobb’s and Trobb’s. Colour Coded, see chart.

50% High SR - This is the strike rate of the amount of times the horse has traded 50% or higher in running when it won a race or races than it’s Betfair SP (BSP).  This is something that is useful to know when trading a horse as a Lay 2 back (L2B). Colour Coded, see chart.

12 Tick Higher SR - This is the strike rate of the amount of times the horse has moved up 12 ticks or higher in running when it won a race or races than it’s Betfair SP (BSP).  This is something that is useful to know when trading a horse as a Lay 2 back (L2B). Colour Coded, see chart.

50%SR - This is the strike rate of the amount of times the horse has traded 50% or lower in running than it’s Betfair SP (BSP) for this pattern or trend.  Colour Coded, see chart.

Welcome Screen New Fields

Added UR4 and Tissue Odds in decimal and power ratings odds (UR1 Odds) are also now decimal.

Power Ratings Downloads

We have moved to a new server for downloads, so we can secure the main site after Google changed some rules a few months back.

For you it is seamless this update takes care of it but you NEED to do the update because once we secure the site (soon) the old version will not download power ratings automatically.

Auto Non-Runner Removal Tool

Auto update welcome screen tick box added to non-runner removal tool

This is generally for those linking welcome screen selections to BF Bot Manager so that non runners trigger new bets and selections on the welcome screen are updated and then the BF Bot auto updates them.

When ticked in conjunction with auto non-runner removal it will update the welcome screen.

NOTE: if you have a lot of systems every time a non-runner is found you will get a lag or wait cursor while the welcome screen updates.

Quick Hide on Notifications Screen

This was for me really as I always click not on top and notifications off when I open Proform and got sick of three clicks
